Program Type: Secure sub-acute, crisis residential treatment
To Make Referrals: Starting August 2, 2021, please use the referral information section below. Referrals are made by community outreach workers, emergency departments at area hospitals, and community walk-in clinics, as well from the local psychiatric emergency service unit: Unity Center.
# of Beds: 16 beds
Who We Serve: Adults ages 18 and older who are currently experiencing mental health crisis. The service area for Care Oregon clients is those who live in Clackamas, Washington and Multnomah counties. The service area for uninsured, Medicare only, and Open Card referrals is Multnomah County residents only.
Hours of Operation: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
About the Program: At Multnomah Crisis and Treatment Center (CATC), we provide comprehensive mental health and psychiatric treatment services in a safe, welcoming inpatient environment for adults with serious mental illness.
We believe recovery starts from within, and that our job is to do whatever it takes to provide the support you need on your recovery journey. Our facility includes a full team of peer supports, clinicians, a nurse, a psychiatrist, and recovery specialists who are here to provide support 24 hours a day.
Your recovery plan starts with you. Upon arrival, a diverse clinical team will provide an individualized assessment and work with you every step of the way to support your goals in life.

Care Oregon
Multnomah, Clackamas, or Washington County residents that have Care Oregon insurance
Providers treating those insured with Care Oregon or Open Card, please submit a complete and attach clinical documentation to the referral.
Multnomah County Treatment Fund
Multnomah County residents that are uninsured or Medicare Only
Providers treating those who are uninsured or have Medicare only, and residents of Multnomah County can refer to the Multnomah County Call Center by submitting a completed referral form to CATCreferrals@multco.us.
