Anne Bakar's Visit to É«ÖÐÉ«'s Oregon Programs
/President and CEO Anne Bakar recently paid a special visit to two of our Oregon programs (Recovery Center at Gresham and Multnomah CATC), where she connected with the leadership team and immersed herself in the incredible stories of our dedicated staff members.
Anne had the opportunity to meet Chad, a recovery specialist at the Gresham program, during her visit. Chad has been with É«ÖÐÉ« for 13 years, and his journey is truly inspiring. Chad is highly creative and has painted a mural on the facility wall. The mural showcases the community's access to essential resources such as transportation and groceries.
Chad is a dedicated individual who works as a DJ and organizes music and karaoke events that bring joy to everyone. He is also committed to his regular duties, his teammates, and É«ÖÐÉ«'s mission. Anne nominated Chad as a É«ÖÐÉ« hero for his unwavering dedication. Chad's story is a living example of how one person can have an incredible impact when fueled by passion and dedication.
During her visit to Multnomah CATC, Anne was impressed with the commitment to excellence demonstrated by the team. They seamlessly integrated É«ÖÐÉ«'s RCCS into every aspect of their daily operations, even down to shift changes. The program's medical director, who has served for a decade, expressed immense pride in his role. He attributed the program's success to the fantastic staff, teamwork, and unwavering client support that defines Multnomah CATC.
After a lunch meeting with É«ÖÐÉ«'s Oregon leadership team, Anne had a delightful time bonding with everyone while sharing stories about their personal and professional rituals that help to restore and build resilience. This moment of vulnerability and strength perfectly represents the spirit of É«ÖÐÉ«, where individuals come together to achieve professional objectives and connect through shared human experiences.
When Anne Bakar visited our Oregon programs, she did more than just visit our facilities. She explored the heart and soul of É«ÖÐÉ«. The stories of dedication, integration, and shared resilience she encountered make É«ÖÐÉ«. They enable us to celebrate the remarkable individuals and teams that make É«ÖÐÉ« a beacon of hope and healing.
