Debbie Zenga, Team Lead at AgeWise, joined É«ÖÐÉ« in September 2019 after spending many years serving individuals with mental healthcare needs. A few weeks ago, Debbie saw a need to provide groceries for program members before the California statewide shelter-in-place orders went into effect. She sprung into action by reaching out to agencies in order to secure these necessities in the midst of a global pandemic.

Just like the É«ÖÐÉ« Heroes program, Heroes in Action are nominated by their peers for demonstrating É«ÖÐɫ’s values in their everyday lives. They’re willing to not only share but show their personal stories with the organization — through videos, photos and more.
