At É«ÖÐÉ«, we believe in the power of peers in supporting the recovery journey. Peers bring their lived experience to the recovery environment, inviting a deeper connection with members by utilizing their unique skills, perspectives, and personal experiences with a serious mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorder throughout their work.

Across California, we have a vibrant community of É«ÖÐÉ« peer professionals who are doing great work for our clients — and sharing their knowledge and experience more broadly as well. Below are videos with Lei Portugal Calloway and Lori Fischer, two peers from our Orange County Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program, and Jonathan Griggs, a peer at our Alameda AOT and Community Conservatorship (CC) program. We encourage you to watch the short videos below to learn about their unique journey’s and why they came to É«ÖÐÉ«.
