The Los Angeles Older Adults (LAOA) Team Celebrates Pi Day!

É«ÖÐÉ«'s Los Angeles Older Adults (LAOA) program in Norwalk, California, had a wonderful time celebrating Pi Day. The team couldn't help but take the opportunity to eat some pie to enjoy the festivities. The staff brought some pizza and dessert pies to fuel up while serving clients.

Though the Pi equation has been around for a long time, . It is annually celebrated on March 14 (or 3.14). It was first celebrated at the San Francisco Exploratorium, where the founder of Pi Day, Physicist Larry Shaw, worked. People often celebrate with all kinds of pies — berry, mincemeat, even a classic pizza pie!

We love the Los Angeles Older Adults team’s enthusiasm and commitment to creating a fun program environment and celebrating all things Pi!
