Cypress House Celebrates Direct Support Professional Week
/É«ÖÐÉ«'s Cypress House staff go above and beyond to ensure their residents have everything they need to live happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives. Seeing the joy brought into our residents' daily lives is gratifying. Whether it’s providing them with social and recreational activities or just being a friendly face to talk to, our staff give their all for the sake of those in their care.
This year, falls on September 11 to 17. The purpose of this week is to raise awareness about the vital role that direct support professionals (DSPs) play in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). It is also an opportunity to celebrate DSPs' hard work and dedication. The program got together and celebrated its accomplishments.
The hard work and dedication of the men and women who provide care to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve recognition and celebration. These individuals profoundly impact the lives of those they support, and we are grateful for their efforts. This is also a chance to showcase the loyalty and creativity of the direct support workforce. Staff members Dyvon and Kayla put together gift bags for all personnel, filled with goodies to celebrate.
The hard work at Cypress House is commendable, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication the program exhibits daily.
